About This Position
The role involves traveling to clients' homes to provide services for families with Child Protective Services referrals. The work focuses on three programs: Family Preservation Services (FPS), Positive Parenting Program (PPP), and Incredible Years (IY). Clinicians work with families experiencing abuse or neglect referrals, employing an assessment tool called the Child Assessment of Needs and Strengths of the Family (CANS-F).
Key Programs
- Family Preservation Services (FPS): Preventing child placement by strengthening families in crisis
- Positive Parenting Program (PPP): Evidence-based parenting skill development
- Incredible Years (IY): Social-emotional development and behavioral management
Responsibilities
- Conduct CANS-F assessments
- Deliver psychotherapy using evidence-based techniques
- Teach life skills like budgeting and cooking
- Provide referrals for additional services
- Submit weekly reports on client progress
- Maintain caseloads of 8-12 families
- Maintain 25 client-facing hours weekly
- Participate in 2 hours weekly supervision/consultation
Qualifications
Clinician II Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, psychology, counseling, or allied field
- Current licensure as LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW (WAC 246-809), OR Associate-level license with written supervision agreement
- Valid driver's license, working vehicle, current auto insurance
- Spanish fluency desired but optional
Clinician I Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or allied field
- Certified Counselor credential (WAC 246-810; RCW 18.19) with written supervision agreement
- Valid driver's license, working vehicle, current auto insurance
- Spanish fluency desired but optional
