Mental Health Therapist

About This Position

Life Transitions seeks licensed mental health clinicians to provide therapy in a private practice model supporting diverse communities. Therapists will deliver outpatient mental health evaluations, assessments, and therapy for all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient mental health evaluations, assessments, and therapy for all age groups
• Attend weekly clinical supervision
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality while providing direct therapy services
• Support community referrals and access to services
• Maintain 65-75% client-facing hours (if hourly)
• Create and manage electronic health records
• Consult with supervisors and community professionals
• Conduct intake interviews using biopsychosocial assessment
• Provide case management and group therapy
• Complete required documentation and paperwork

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or related field (or bachelor's with agency affiliation)
• MHP credential (obtainable within 30 days)
• Two years' mental health counseling/case management experience
• Active Washington State Department of Health license
• English fluency (speaking, reading, writing)
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience with diverse populations
• Current professional liability insurance
• Flexibility for weekends/evenings

Preferred

• Multilingual proficiency
• Couples and family therapy experience
• Prior insurance panel enrollment
• Group therapy facilitation experience
• Telehealth service delivery
• CPR/First Aid certification (optional, within 90 days)
